Rap game keep you guessing.

You never know who's real and well connected with high level ties and a history of dirt/shot calling and who not by listening to their lyrics/watching their videos.

Just actual rep away from the music.

As far as I can tell, Suge only had LA dudes shook even in his prime period. He was an anomaly for being a guy with deep street ties in a position (label exec) that was mostly occupied by Jewish nerds. Not very hard to muscle up on those types of dudes/rappers whose raps are all fiction.

Case in point, when he came to New York in the '95 for those Source Awards he was a ghost. I don't even think him or his artists booked hotels in the city itself. For all that tough talk, he was nowhere to be found at the parties/clubs. I was there, in the mix. One of my friends was a goon for hire and the people he was fukking with had him patrolling the streets looking for Death Row. Yeah, it was an away game for them, but from my understanding they weren't even looking to body dude, just pull his card.

Cut it out bro:mjlol:

Now you might want to say only nikkas in the industry was shook and street nikkas didn't give a damn. But lets not pretend nobody was shook of Suge and his boogey man status only worked on west coast nikkas:comeon:. Plus thats not saying much anyway,as Cali was his homebase and where he usually was,and nikkas outside of Cali had to step foot in Cali at some point. Sounds like your basically just saying nikkas wasn't scared of Suge away from Cali where they had all they backup and homeboys.

My point was that he was shook too. Take him out of his bubble, and he moved very quietly/in secret. Nobody in New York was thinking about him/Death Row. We had actual real life street dudes (not street dudes by affiliation) who were extorting the major labels/artists at the time.

I remember 50 was publicly punking and threatening Fabolous and his people when him and his team was threatening Soulja Boy. After 50 stepped in they all fell back. I hope 50 is/was getting a check out of Soulja Boy, I still remember 50 attempting to extort him live on BET back in the day, lol.
