I see nothing wrong with Drake producing Aaliyah's album without Timb, Missy

God damn it's like you guys don't ever research anything before you post.

Tim/Missy didn't put out a "new" Aaliyah album because they said it would be wrong to make money off the dead. Tim even said, even if they were involved with this album, all proceeds should go to charity, because again making money off the dead is wrong.

So get the fukk outta here talking about "Tim and Missy had 12 years and now they're bitter Drake is doing it!".

Main reason I've stopped myself from having an opinion on it. Cause basically I agree with the OP and with you Fred. I hope this is addressed soon...the last thing this needs is bad publicity and bickering between camps. Anything to keep Aaliyah's name out there should be done. I'm a little upset Timbo and Missy haven't even tried to drop something. I don't care if they released it as a mixtape, released it as a free digital album, or sold it for charity...do something if you care like you say. Nobody said they had to sell anything. So I feel happy that Drake is releasing an Aaliyah album for the new generation. On the other hand, I have to wonder if this is being sold for profit...

They did mention charity as the only way they'd be ok with it, if it had to be made.
