I see nothing wrong with Drake producing Aaliyah's album without Timb, Missy

Like Timb & Missy were really gonna do a posthumous Aaliyah album.........she's been dead going on 12 years and nobody has brought up making a new album until Drake does so. Now he does and nikkas are, "Naw man, dat aint right....dat should be Timb and Missy doin it."

Well, I'm pretty sure if anyone had the power to do so over the past several years it's Timbaland. He changed the sound of urban music in the mid 00's....was responsible for a ton of record sales.

But let's be real here, .....who's to say that even if she was still alive, he'd even still be working with her?

He doesnt even work with Ginuwine anymore, and they broke each other into the game. One would not hve blown up w/o the other and from what I read, it's Timb who is the one who separated. On one of Ginuwines latest albums Timb has a track on there, but it sounded like a complete garbage throwaway beat.

Nor does he even work with Missy anymore.

On top of all this, you already have the Aaliyah vocals, thus written songs(which is what Missy would be doing mostly), so why would you need her? You can't make Aaliyah sing/say anything differently b/c she's not here.

I'm just sayin...

This isnt even really about Drake tho.

Its more about people acting like NOBODY else should be able to produce an Aaliyah album....Drake just happens to be the one involved.....but at the same time, b/c it's him it automatically becomes an (bigger) issue.
