Honestly I'm noticing that trend... What's Colin Quinn or Darrell Hammond doing right now?:patrice:
Yeah....at nbc...and they all take cheap money for the jobs...cbs will have no snl bias.

John Stewart or colbert would be cool if they bailed on the political shyt...especially john stewart...the whole..hyper liberal jew shyt is really tired...

:rudy: to who? "hyper?" :heh: he's the only person on tv that can explain derivative trading and the effects of NSA wire tapping in the same conversation and you're calling that man hyper :deadrose:

Colbert's show is more about the interviews/host personality anyway. He is a perfect celebrity schmooze. He fits better if a transition needed to be made.

To me. And by hyper i mean it as a synonym to "extremely". And he is definitely extremely liberal.

If you need derivatives explained to you by a stand-up comedian then you have bigger problems.

Says something about our country doesn't it.

But I thought you were using hyper as in excessive and unnecessary.

rock would have to water down his material, so no

louie ck is a white-guilt liberal elitist, but awkward as fukk

colbert is a terrible interviewer

stewart would fail too, he too much of a straight character (the one would acts normal while fukkery ensues around him)... thats what makes him good on the daily show, but broadcast tv is different league

kimmel is the answer

this. i cringe at half his interviews, his fake conservative act is running dry.

kimmel or conan needs that spot

To me, it goes like this

Level 1 - Safe choices - Conan and Jimmy Kimmel
Level 2 - Mid tier - Stewart and Colbert
Level 3 - Risk - Chris Rock and Chelsea Handler

That's how CBS is gonna see it. Lets see what they do.

They would never consider Chelsea Handler. Even with all the connections that she has.

I don't want to see Rock waste his brilliance making safe jokes that don't offend 65 year olds in middle America brehs.

fukk that. Who watches these late night shows anyway? They are not the gig they were when we only had three channels.

I would hate it if Chris Rock got to host Late Show. Sure he would get tens of millions but we would lose out on at least 3 more great stand-up sets.

Only upside of Rock hosting a nightly show is being able to hear his thoughts/commentary if there was a huge or controversial story in the headlines. Otherwise we would get the same show as every other late night show. Almost all of them have at least 3 writers specifically for the monologue, cracking out 100 topical jokes everyday, which they chose from.

Typical Jay Leno Jokes
The Supreme Court has ruled that they cannot have a nativity scene in Washington, D.C. This wasn't for any religious reasons. They couldn't find three wise men and a virgin.

Magic Johnson, former basketball player, may run for mayor of L.A. in the next election. Remember the good 'ol days when only qualified people ran for office like actors and professional wrestlers.
This is what you want Chris Rock to turn into?
