That being said, I don't think Chris Rock like doing late nite. To be funny night in and night out is lot harder than it seems and Chris's strength is his brevity and incisiveness.

Strangely enough Louis CK would do well in late night because the lack of fukks he gives would be refeshing lol.

No it's not so much doubt, but Chris's show was popular in the late 90's. HBO wanted to make his show an hour in the second season and he wasn't into it anymore, and that was a weekly series. Chris was over it by then. Now his opinion might have changed in the past 15 years, but trust if Chris Rock wanted his own late night show, he would have gotten it years ago. Dude is a top tier comedian, just saying the 5 days a week grinder is not his style.
