If it is black go see a doctor.

If it is red, it might just be an anal fissure or it could also be that you wiped your ass raw. I eat a very high fiber diet and take massive dumps, and if I also happen to eat a lot of sunflower seeds for a few days in a row it sometimes happens to me. Stops after a day or two. Bright red is good, that means fresh blood and probably not much to worry about unless it persists.
