I don't want to be involved with, in any degree of seriousness, with a woman who is a financial disaster....because I don't want that kind of instability and dysfunction near me, but I would, and have, date an array of women, in (relatively) low paying jobs, server, cashier, working in Nordstrom, hair dressers, etc, as well as ones with high profile jobs. I can understand wanting stability and upward mobility, but asking for a credit score? That's seems a little sterile and artificial in terms of romance and affection....I am for equality. Imagine men putting a similar sanction on women, every women in that article would be out of the running, if we based it on a hard stat like income.....
* marriage is much different then dating, and that must involve a full financial disclosure, and some reckoning of bad credit, or debt, but this article heavily implies it's a must for 'dating', and I realize it's somewhat sensationalized 'journalism', but makes for a conversation anyway.
