Social media gave ugly ppl a voiceDidn’t they say that audiences today. Preferred to see more real/average looking people on television and movies. Instead of unrealistic glammed up celebrities I remember reading that somewhere.
honestly i've noticed this too.
Crazy part is i've been seeing men and women complain about it. Women like to see sexy women on screen too apparantly.
But the creators (mostly women) i guess feel like it isn't inclusive to have dimes star in every film.
Meanwhile movies the use the old school trends still do numbers at the box office, see barbie.
And the movies with less attractive women are flopping left and right, ms marvel is 0-2 with her show and film. the film was trash, but her show was actually pretty good and still flopped.
