popularity is irrelevant to quality of anything. food, music, movie, game, etc.

as far as what series are better ? plenty. TF, quake, unreal, half-life, doom, bioshock, left 4 dead, medal of honor

as far as better individual games, there are way too many to name tbh. alien vs predator 2 by itself>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>all cod's combined.

again i ask if C.O.D indivually (COD4) and together as a series is not the best FPS ever then what is? yes this includes game play and popularity

and miss me with that goldeneye, counter strike nostalgia stuff

cod 4 is up there but the series has been wack ever since, every new game feels like a map pack

in terms of single player bioshock, crysis 1&2, killzone 2&3, battlefield3 and bc, halo 3& reach, etc. were all better, and thats just this gen

in terms of multi it depends if you like mindless random action, or a structured skill based squad shooter

its no comparison. counter strike, TF, quake 3, UT...was like multiplayer heaven back in the day

and CODs main competition, battlefield, is much better imo.

UT2k3 is the most skillful FPS(by a land slide) and possible game to ever come out in history of video gaming


some of the top players with trans locators

but it had a hard learning curve

play counter strike and be good in a week or two
or play ut and go 1-20 every game against good players

thats that shyt the public dont like
a real game mans up to it though, but not many of them around

I could never get ESF to work, never seemed like a big deal back then anyway. Bid For Power had a pretty huge following so I ate well.
