i miss when gaming wasn't for p*ssy mouth breathers who never leave the basement

most of these online trolls would have been food in arcades. got their change took and send to the back of the line.

let's one day talk about how the "culture" and demographics of gaming changed from the arcade to the console/computer for worse...

Yeah....it took courage to navigate Arcades back in the day, you had:
- The Parent - You rocking it on the Star Wars Trilogy missions, got quarters on deck and a parent wants their "little guy to ride the X-Wing"....Telling them to wait was perilous
- The Teenager - Always in groups, young enough to be cool, old enough to bully his way on to a machine.
- Old Head - Grown Brehs who rock the pinball machine serious....jacket over the cabinet serious.
- Scavenger/Broke Boys - Always asking for a quarter or looking for abandoned games play.

None of these reddit incels could survive....they'd need therapy just to get the courage to join as the 6th member of the X-Men game....they'd get mad for getting left with Dazzler lol

Arcades were like the perfect medium.

Face to face interaction, outside the house and social gaming activities.

Truthfully I'm surprised nothing has come along to replace it, some kind of updated model.

There needs to be some kind of arcade/casino hybrid or some kind of reward for doing things in the arcade that you can't get on console.

I think for an arcade to be successful now it would need VR and a bunch of 4d machines which I can't even image how much would cost.

there’s like 3 or 4 barcades in la.
