I make everyone I interview solve this math problem. And if they can't, I won't hire them

This is actually good i think.
It's easy enough, anyone who graduated high school should be able to pass it
But it's so random + the pressure of being at an interview might cause some ppl to mess up or panic
So it's tests how you think on your feet, while under pressure, and also your attention to detail since it's easy to miss the multiple in the last line

Do you at least let them look up pemdas? shyt I’d have to look this up to remember the order.one deals with emotions. the other deals with results.
I hate interviewing people. so for me, affective is more appropriate.
I can tell if i'm going to hire someone within the first 5 minutes. But I drag the shyt out. This test actually is for entertainment purposes as well. I'm emotionally unstable at work

Oh yeah, it’s 21 cause of that extra boot. I got it wrong. I always been average at best at math. This why I never liked school and said you should be able to cheat in school without penalty. Cause I was actually in finance up till I left that corporate shyt last year. I literally worked with numbers all day and used to brag that I ain’t even good with numbers. But I was good as hell at the job. All you need is a calculator, Google, and common sense. I’m amortizing multi million dollar payments down to the penny and doing whole forecasting reports with all this financial data and shyt and can’t even get this shyt right lol. But dudes who REALLY good at math, them nikkas smart for real. They be building the algorithms and shyt. I used to be looking at they shyt like, oh y’all smart for real. I’m just a high level bullshytter
I didn’t notice the singular use of thee boot and thee horse shoe on the last equation. I feel more blind than dumb lol.

I don't tell them shyt. I put it in front of them and tell them to solve it.

But I wonder if the pictures in the last equation is pulling the solver's leg by showing just 1 boot and 1 horseshoe instead of 2. So its
1+(10*2) = 21
