Wouldn't diet have more to do with that?

By feet hurt after a while. Like I don't get enough arch support. Idk what shoes to get for it. I don't want to wrap my foot every time I workout.
Everything together will get body fat down.

The reason boxers is so lean is they train a lot and they got great diets.

Skipping is a lifestyle skill too. I been outta shape last 4 months due to an accident. But i can still pick up a rope get it in, it's a formula to get in shape.

It's also a base for fitness, for me it's a warm up at the start and warm down / extra work.

Once you're conditioned to skipping then the body can take lots of exercise and come back for more aka conditioning.

It isn't the shoes.

It's just your body dealing with new muscle work in the feet and calves.

There's different ways to skip, if you have sore calves then feet together, sore ankles, whole foot jump/step. The biggest advise to give you is that it isn't jumping really, you learn to step, your feet get strong and you box step, it mimics boxing quick feet.'
