Great, but tough on the ligaments.

Thread title got me kinda nostalgic for the double-dutch competitions in NYC once upon a time. Good times.

Alright brehs, I'm here. I'm ready to learn cause I need something that's gonna burn this fat from around my waist. I feel like jumping rope is the right amount of whatever I need to drop this stubborn belly fat.

Y'all teach me cause I'm ready to learn :wow:

I swear to god I don't even feel fatigued but after like 10 minutes, I can never do it consistently for a minute before the rope skips and hits my foot :dead:

I keep on thinking the rope is too small :dead:

I need advice on this

almost - at my best I can go like 2 or 3 minutes iwthout stoppping.... so in a 10 minute period, I can stop only 3-4 times at best.

Then after that... I can't go up to a 1 minute without stoppping and I don't know why :dead:

Sounds like your twitch explosive fibers are wore out after 10 minutes (my terminology may be off). I'm sure you just have to keep practicing and you'll improve over time.

Skip 3 min periods, alternating pace, tricks, double under, high knees, more intensity.

Breaks of 30 seconds or 1 min.

Beginners start with 2 mins.

minimum of 4 rounds.

Work your way up to 12-16 rounds.

The body takes time to adjust. Beware of shin injuries, knee injuries. Skip on bouncy floor initially.

After 2-3 years you'll be bullet proof and under 10% body fat if you do it 5 times a week.

Wouldn't diet have more to do with that?

By feet hurt after a while. Like I don't get enough arch support. Idk what shoes to get for it. I don't want to wrap my foot every time I workout.
