I love how wrestlers are following The Rock’s blueprint of getting into acting

Well even the rock cut that "get the F out " im loyal to wwe forever promo and then permanently left like 2 months later

:mjlol:
He has been loyal to the WWE forever. Wrestling has needed him more than he's needed wrestling since 2001 :ehh:

Cena made himself seem like a hypocrite / hater for no reason

This is what Vince wanted, less wrestling, more entertainment. Product has gone to shyt but Wrestlers are breaking into Hollywood even more. All the while Triple H has to wait for Vince to die.

HHH is still sitting pretty.

The whole reason why Vince made WWE Studios was because he didn’t want his wrestlers following Rock’s blueprint.

Sasha is next to follow that blueprint IMO..

Yup...be a star...but not a star bigger than the WWE :whoa:

because now the WWE has to play nice and not piss him off...truthfully Rock is Vince's karma come to life..Rock can go to any WWE show and do and say what he wants on TV

He can go to the middle of the ring and talk about macho man for 10 mins and then have some jobber pile drive him..go to the back and have someone dare to tell him he did something wrong lol

Triple H...another one that failed to get into Hollywood...couldn't even stand out in a Rated R vampire movie that was the worst in its trilogy lol

Dont get it twisted the Rock was a once in a lifetime star that was able to transition his stardom to Hollywood
even his contempary and arguable more popular wrestler Stone Cold wasnt able to make the jump

i think to make it you need charisma and self-depreciating sense of humor to offset your physicality (something the Rock, Batista and Cena all share)

I wonder if Sasha will be able to make the jump. She is wooden on tv but did well on the Manalorian. Charlotte is getting a USA show. And Alexa also has potential

I always wondered why wrestlers of yesterday didn't get into acting. I could see the late Big Daddy V in a few horrors

they tried (Hogan, Undertaker, Piper, Jesse Ventura, Austin, Kane to name a few)
but Rock showed the new blueprint. Do comedies. Dont take yourself too seriously. Take the shyt seriously. Cena tried with the Marina and 12 rounds failed. Then did the reboot going the kids/self depricating route. Now he is arguably the 3rd biggest success behind the Rock & Batista. Back in the day wrestlers were trying to me the next Arnold or Stallone. But now you have a better chance breaking in being a comic relief or going against type. It doesnt hurt that comic movies have taken off which is perfect for wrestlers. Rock has FF franchise (which is basically a superhero flick) & Black Adam. Batista has Guardians. Cena has Suicide Squad and HBO show in development
