It's crazy you started this thread because man I listened to these 3 joints on a 6 hour drive today and it made me at the thought of what Kanye used to be and how we'll never get this version of him again







I still listen whenever his shyt pops up on shuffle or if I'm in the mood but damn it's crazy thinking where he used to be compared to now, that soul that easily seeped out the music ain't there for him anymore, it is what it is I guess. And I ain't even a old head just his first few albums were my childhood.

Yeah and Life of Pablo I really enjoyed and to me is probably his best album in this "new era" of Kanye post Yeezus. But like you said it's bittersweet, even Donda had some joints to me but yeah Kanye ain't the same and it's a bit hard to accept, but hey he's making the music he wants to I guess.

Bittersweet is actually a dope Kanye leftover from Graduation, with John Mayer, used to play that all the time. I say it like I wasn't the BIGGEST fan, but my most defintions I was, I just wasn't a DEVOUT fan. knew all the unreleased, all the bonus cuts.

I even went way out of my way to explain the song White Dress to some girl I was with a few nights ago, he said some shyt like "girls drink in a masculine glass"

I haven't listened to a Kanye West project since TLOP. He was tweaking during that era as well (confederate flag shyt), but I gave him a pass. Sometime between then and 2018 when he started supporting Trump he became dead to me.

Edit: To clarify, I'll go back and listen to his old project TLOP and before, but I don't listen to anything new.
