He's 24...let's sign him to a reasonable deal and see how it plays out...he's a #2 corner but I'd be okay with two #2 corners

Eli Apple on a reasonable deal sounds like a good move to me
but I don't know if he said that's his price and not a penny less and the eagles said bet. Just I value his leadership and the way he set up the defense alot. I wish we kept Jenk, still draft a Safety and have him come under jenk.
But it's still very early in the FA process. If the market flops I'm sure he knows he can come back to us
I broke it down a few weeks back in here, but 2019 McLeod & 2019 Jenk essentially thrive in the same role as that hybrid S/LB who needs to be near the line of scrimmage. Neither can play center field part time, let alone full time.
Couldn't afford to bring both back, Rodney fully transitioning into that Jenk role while Mills assumes the FS responsibilities is automatically better from a fit standpoint. Just gotta hope Goblin holds up his end.

Sanders i think is going to be a stud. but Scott imo is a sproles type 3rd down back maybe catch some passes. but i want a howard RB that is run between the tackles & you can give the rock to & just let him wear the defense down. Sanders isnt that type of back & neither is Scott.
im telling you watch Zach Moss i think him & Sanders can be special together.

im cool with loosing Howard...I need Howie to draft Antonio Gibson- he can play RB and WR and runs a 4.39 at 230lbs..

Released Alshon as a post june cut to fund Clowneys salary too. Probably give him an average 18-19 per year cap hit for five years.
That pass rush rotation of Graham, Barnett, Cox, Jackson, Hargraves, Sweat and Clowney would have been filthy.
I wouldnt even trip who is out there at corner, u just needed competent people out there at safety, linebacker and corner if u have a defensive line like that.
Wouldnt have cost us draft picks like someone Ngakoue would if you traded for him and then extended him.

shyt, I'll still take him just because I'm tired of him dogging us out when he plays us. And if the rumors from the past couple months are true and he ends up with the Giants or another NFCE team, we will be in some major trouble.
We need to spread the word to other Eagles fans to stop being whiny bytches and get on the campaign trail for Clowney.
