At first when I saw that he was sitting out, I kinda got annoyed for a second, but after reading that, I can completely understand now why he wants to.

He was gonna be in the mix for that 5th WR spot but I 100% understand his choice. Good for him.
I think they are, it's just a matter of how bad the inevitable outbreaks are. Even if you avoid full blown team-wide outbreaks, there's a scenario where your starting QB & 3 or 4 starting OL all get hit at once and have to quarantine for 3 weeks. You can still field a team but at that point the product becomes terrible and you're basically forfeiting those games.
