Do nerds produce movies or do studios? Did they stop those movies from getting made?

Superman might not stay white forever. If middle eastern Jesus can be re-imagined as a white man to reflect white people, then what's stopping our own icons from being re-imagined in the future to reflect those generations?

An easier fix would be to give George Miller the directing gig, keep Superman as white as he has always been and give audiences the cornball, aw shucks, "Mom's Apple Pie" characterization of Superman a majority of the audience have been consistently whining for since Man of Steel.

I don't think that's his fault though, Cavill's a good actor. It seemed like Snyder instructed him to keep Supes as earnest as possible.

Cavill superman isn't really earnest he broods and mopes when he's not fawning over Lois then he broods and mopes some more that's as far as his characterisation goes when he's not being stoic. To be earnest you have got to stand for something at this point we still don't know what that is

yeah I don't really understand how you could ask for a black Clark Kent unless you want to re-boot this DCEU which isn't very likely. Why go through all that trouble when there is actually a black superman in the comics already named Calvin Ellis? It's like saying Peter Parker needs to be black
