This movie was a revelation. DDL transformed into that demon Daniel Plainview and I was completely enthralled. The directing and cinematography were both excellent as usual from PTA. DDL really is the GOAT actor.

The way he tricked the audience into thing he loved his “son” was pure genius. Top ten movie of all time.

The movie was kind of long and a tad "boring" but DDL was amazing, and I like Paul Dano I dont think he's had his breakout role yet. but ya DDL seemed like a legit time traveler from that time period, everything was on, even his body language, they way he walked, did he win an oscar for it?

Yeah he won the Oscar. It's one of maybe the top 5 movies since 2000 for me. And No Country for Old Men came out the same year. 2007 was ridiculous.
