I like Kill la Kill better but GL is a top notch show
I was recommended to watch this show after I mentioned how Kill La Kill was in my top 10 anime. Got damn what a show Gurren Lagann was!
So elegant
So magnificent
So over the top
So emotional
I've never seen anything like it. I recommend everyone to check it out even if you're not a fan of anime or mecha. Easily top 5 material.

I remember dropping the show after the older brother died.....I may go back and rewatch it
I feel like it's a better show after the time skip well after he's gone. Simon becomes a respectable lead.

This was a DECENT show until the time skip, then it became horrible. Simon is one of the WOAT main characters, other dude at the start was way better can't remember his name. Yoko was the only decent character though and she wasnt anything special. I don't get what people like about this show at all.
I finished the show. I liked it but Kill la Kill is better.
