It's about the counter-terrorism branch of the CIA. A Marine was in Iraq for 8 years as a POW, he comes back and may or may not be a traitor who is trying to assassinate the Vice President. The main chick trying to prove he's a traitor is mentally ill so you aren't sure how much is true and how much is paranoia.

I'm glad you like it. I never thought it was slow either. The whole season is moving the pieces into place. A lot of shyt that's unexplained or
all falls into place in the last 2-3 eps. That's when shyt gets

Yeah, it wasn't slow for me. I started watching it a week ago, already on the second season now.
I'd go as far as saying that unlike a lot of shows praised in the same vein, Homeland starts out faster than most.
