tbf, it's only the worst and most rachet family members of mine that are religous and into gospel music
wtf....fukk the spoiler delete that shyt
Lots of people listen to gospel/christian music to hear positive music instead of the constant bullshyt on the radio.
Also today there are all kinds of gospel artists now to fit different tastes.
And what propaganda is in gospel music @Mechatronic lol
Most of that new gospel sounds too much like RnB and secular music in general. I much prefer the older stuff as welli like old gospel music, not the new stuff
No doubt Jesus is an inspirational figure. The propoganda is that he will "fix it".... It promotes dependency and complacency. Black people don't need that. That's why we don't take risks traditionally. Nor do we question the statua quo... We are fighting back more now and it's because we are tired of singing we shall overcome.
The Bible isn't stopping people from smoking, drinking, having sex or any of that, so it's not stopping black people from fighting back. Black people aren't fighting back because they know they are outgunned and there are repercussions for bringing violence against the system.

Yes, but why would u ever judge a song by the people who listen to that song? If a hardcore, HOH dude likes a sappy r and b love song, would you also stop liking that song because of who was listening to it ?
I agree people think that He will just fix all your issues and don't take action to change their own lives but that is the people who are misinterpting and failing to do what they need to do.No doubt Jesus is an inspirational figure.
