isn't this what mma is about, the appeal is that anyone can do it, fedor almost got beat by a guy who was working at sam's club lol
:dwillhuh: But he knocked his head off....and secondly he beat him at his own game, due to the fact that Fedor past his prime became a one dimensional brawler all of a sudden.

the nikka was working a sam's club, brett rogers sucks and he damn near finished fedor who is the greatest of all time, fukk being his prime there's levels to this shyt

sugar ray leonard would still beat somebody who works at sam club's ass in a boxing ring pretty easy even though he's old as fukk

First off, even though Rogers worked at a Sams Club, you have no knowledge of his prior fighting experience or training. Secondly, almost doesnt mean shyt, Fedor won, by knockout. Third, he almost got knocked out by fukking Fujita in his prime years, whom of which is more a pro wrestler than a fighter. Your point youre trying to make is kinda baseless. Im more tham sure Strikeforce scouts didnt happen to see a big black guy at sams club and said Hey! Wanna do pro mma! The days of just anyone stepping in the cage have died more than a decade ago.

Brett Rogers wasn't like cormier, or gus would who had wrestling backgrounds or boxing backgrounds, he was just a guy who decided to get into MMA

what makes CM punk any different other than already being famous some what

thats the point

Jon jones taught himself MMA from youtube, he only trained a few years before he turned pro and he's never lost

the whole point of MMA is anybody can get in there and do it, that was part of its growth

you acting like the UFC isn't already filled with bums, I'm pretty sure there's people on that roster CM Punk can beat right now

I think he'll get 1, max 2 fights. He'll be looking to collect at least 1 pay cheque.
It's not a pay check thing though. Cm punk can do a lot of things to get a pay check .
I agree.

But if he becomes a champion then it shows what the ufc has become, a bar fighting sport.
You Kidding me . If he becomes champion like anyone else it's cause he worked hard and trained hard and was better than you thought (I have no illusions of him being champ by the way )
Read this article from Anthony Pettis and realized how embarrassing this is for the UFC. This dude doesnt have to work himself up through lesser organizations at all? Nope, he just puts up money to train with a credible team and hes in the top organization in MMA. Why, for views clearly but its embarrassing for the UFC's brand in my opinion and their fighters to let this bum in. And if he wins, wow. Really not a good look. :wow:
how is winning a bad look ??!?!! It just means he was good enough to be in the ufc . I
Can theoretically walk into the nfl , nba or any sporting organization off the street and if im good enough im good enough

UFC is designed to be the highest caliber of MMA. Something that differentiates itself from your local king of the cage show at which guys off the street fight. Jon Jones was a national champion wrestler and fought 6 local fights before UFC signed him. Brett Rogers at least had striking experience fighting toughman and fought 10 mma fights before Fedor. CM Punk is beneath Butterbean and Kimbo level as fighters at this point.

then explain why the UFC has plenty of bums

UFC isn't wrestling it' fighting

Jon Jones had three years fighting experience lol

There's guys in the UFC who are not anything close to elite

all I'm saying you haven't even seen CM Punk fight yet, so how do you know if he's good or not
