*uses subway during snow storms* don't give a fukk how many inches fall
Naw, because corps and small businesses were sending their workers to work like, I see no snow, take your ass to workAre you fukking shyting me????? The City has to think for "you" and tell you that the roads are going to be an absolute mess in an afternoon snowstorm???
Anybody who got caught out there got what they deserved....
nikkas think Atlanta the size of small area in Chicago named Englewood. They say the stupidest stuff. This is why I said, a majority of those in a ditch was from the North.2-3 salt trucks for the whole metro area?
I can tell the people that have never been here.
It's not the snow. You can't drive on ice. Period.
It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the average person is. This isn't the 1800's, everyone knew it was going to snow this afternoon yet most people went to work/school without taking a minute to think what the hell is going to happen when everyone gets off at the same time this afternoon with these road conditions...
The same thing happened here in DC a couple of years ago when a snowstorm hit at rush hour and everyone got off at 4 pm.. People where stuck on the beltway for 12 hours+ in a foot of snow...
People panic in the north too. The difference is roads here are undrivable while roads there might be tough but it's not like you turn and your car just stops.Y'all northerns don't understand that in the south they don't prepare the roads for the snow because they don't put it in the budget. So the roads are bad conditions to drive in because they are slippery. up north they have no choice but to prepare y'all roads because it's going to snow. Here it's not always the case so they don't do shyt for our roads. So that's why 2 inches of snow is a big deal....that black ice plus no salt is bad.
People do panic though
I hate snow
Folks jobs werent letting them leave until it was too late, same thing with the schools.
Not to mention that just 2 weeks ago folks were told an ice storm was coming and it didnt do shyt.
you nikkas are really struggle driving out there my fam just said she left work at 330 and just got home 30 minutes ago on a normal 15 min drive. wtf are you nikkas on down there
Man my coworker was living in Stafford then. Said it took so long to get from Crystal City to home that she said fukk it and got a hotel room in Springfield. I can only imagine trying to get home on 66 in that shytBruh I remember that. I took metro to work that day.
Lived right off Penn Ave SE, work closed at 3, took train to Potomac ave, no lie, it had just started snowing like 4 when I got off. People were tripping, fighting to get on the bus. I waited two buses finally got on, snow was to my ankle...took the bus 2 1/2 hrs to go like 4 miles...got off snow was to my knees.
Never in my life seen snow fall that fast or hard
