:snoop: That shyt ain't that fukkin hard to drive in. You Southern nikkas must be the WOAT drivers.

As a dude that grew up in NYC I thought the same thing. But as someone who lives in Atlanta now, trust me breh. You can't drive on it. It's not the snow that's the problem. The roads are literally covered in ice.

exactly. we just had high temps in the negatives the last 2 days (mon/tue) and they closed all the schools in the city and suburbs. don't know why they didn't do that shyt down south where most people could stay hom

I dont know about NYC, but in the chi I got a car, and have been driving in snow for 20 years now. and we haven't NOT had snow/ice on the ground in over a month now.

The difference is in those cities, you know every year your getting ice and snow so having tons of sand, salt, and trucks on hand makes sense. In places like Atlanta, that doesn't happen every year. So the choice is 1) the city sits on and stock piles tons of salt, sand, and trucks that never get used for years and years, costing the city (aka tax payers) millions of dollars a year. Or you take the chance that once every 7 or so years you'll get a really bad ice storm that freezes all of the roads over.

Either way, you gonna take an L and millions of dollars gets wasted. It's a lose/lose breh :manny:
