Stupid thread
And how the fukk is Kitty Pride sending nikkas back in time? That whole movie was retarded. Like I said, I was entertained...but what the fukk was that shyt?
Is the comic called days of future past? She had that ability in the comics. In the comic she went back in time on her own and didn't send anyone else.

Just watched this on HBOGo. I take it this is a soft reboot of the entire franchise because it erases the first X-men movies entirely from the movie canon.
at all...
I suppose I'm more casual than I though with this comic shyt. What the hell is this based on? And What the hell was the ending about?!
The first and second as well. They all do meet up again but under different circumstances.Pretty much throws the 3rd in the bushes.

This makes the movie so much more understandable. Like @Billy Costigan i was kinda lost.Basically there's a war in the future that mystique started that nearly wipes out mutants not only because she murks Trask but her DNA allows the humans to create unstoppable sentinels. They send wolverine back in time to change the future ala Terminator.
Wolverine aides Xavier into bringing mystique back from the dark side by not killing Trask but also saving the president from magneto therefore making the good mutants heroes and halting the sentinel program.
The cool thing about time travel is that yo can do anything you want became there's no facts in outcomes. The outcome of days of future past creates a timeline where cyclops , xavier, and jean are still alive but they've awaken Apocalypse thus creating a new threat.
They basically rewrote history, right? So the events of X-Men 1-3 didn't take place? The ending was all about tossing that Brett Ratner shyt into the bushes
