Tough break nikka
how did you do that on accident though? i never understood that. it'll ask you right before you delete something if you're sure. and if it's half of the collection, i imagine it didn't delete it instantly. you could have canceled the function in the process...
At one point I had 200,000 songs in my itunes.... My harddrive crashed back in 2009.... I have been slowly rebuilding and I am back to about 100,000 songs right now .... This reminds me I need to buy a new external harddrive just in case this one decides to just give out for no reason
Hit "Undo"
sorry for ur misfortune breh but having that many songs and not having it backed up on drives is the stupidest shyt ever read 100,000 fukin songs
externals are dumb cheap too
also whats ur source for music
Accidentally deleted an important file? Lost something important when your computer crashed? No problem! Recuva recovers files deleted from your Windows computer, Recycle Bin, digital camera card, or MP3 player. And it's free!
2....200...200,000 songs....hell even 100,000 songs is a huge ass list...I've rarely broken 1,000 but then I go through a deleting session to slim pickings...you must keep everything breh
i figured someone would ax this
basically bro i have a C and a D drive on my computer
then i have a music folder, and stuff is categorized under the music folder: (rap, reggae, r&b, etc)
then under rap folder i have subfolders (east coast rap, west coast rap, down south, etc)
so i had my old music collection on the d: drive, and was using that as a storage drive
the new music i would download i would put on the c: drive, so i had the folders set up in the exact same way as described for the d: drive, that way i could keep them categorized and not get confused
lately my computer started alerting me that my disk space wuz low, so i wuz like let me move all the recent downloaded shyt to d:
so i copied it all to the d: drive folders since the folders were set up the same it went perfectly into all the right categories
NOW, after it wuz done copying i wuz ready to delete the files off c:, cuz they were already copied to d:
simple enough right?
well i had windows explorer open, and i start checking if the files copied over, and with that expand and collapse thing it shows folders in a tree like format, since i had the same folders in both drives, i somehow got confused/crossed up when i wuz deleting, so i deleted a big ass LA rap folder, and then to my horror i looked up and saw that i just deleted the d: drive one and not the c: one
somebody might ax why didn't i just delete the c: music folder out right? well my DUMB ASS wanted to keep the categorized folders still, in case i download more stuff, and thats wut fukked me up in tha end, because i ended up deleting the content in the d: drive folder cuz i thought it wuz tha c: drive folder cuz they both have the same names
i should of just deleted the whole music folder straight and i wouldn't of had any confusion , oh well props if u even following me to this point and get wut tha fukk i'm saying
Worst part is how you had to make all those folders and organize that shyt your damn self.
Reminds me of the time I made a fat32 file on my external hard drive.
My shyt is 1.5 TB and it was half full. I didn't know what was happening, next thing my entire hard drive was wiped. The notification even told me it was going to wipe but for some reason I was just like I just remember a cold silence as I sat there, stared at my screen...........then let out a fukk!!!!!!!!!!
