i just deleted half my music collection on accident :sadbron:

i don't have a recycle bin


even though when i'm deleting it in windows it prompts if i want to send items to recycle bin but i think it really just deletes them cuz there is no recycle bin

Or if you haven't done anything, go to the folder you deleted the files and see if there is an option to 'undo' your delete.

For the future, get yourself an external hard drive and back them up. I have my music backed up on 2 other hard drives apart from my main one.

there's lots of "undelete" programs out there. normally you can recover almost anything with the right tools. good luck breh, losing half my music would burn my soul

yeah i had it backed up, i dunno where tha hell i put that hard drive tho

oh well , half tha time i didn't even listen to that shyt, but it felt good havin that big ass library to fall back on when i wanted to hear a certain specific song

i'm not even gonna TRY to start on tha process of re-downloading all that shyt, i'm way too old for this

it happened before years ago when my pops deleted my whole collection, i had to start from scratch, i ain't bout to do that shyt again

Can you recommend an external hard drive for a beginner. I have over 600 albums on the IPod.

At one point I had 200,000 songs in my itunes.... My harddrive crashed back in 2009.... I have been slowly rebuilding and I am back to about 100,000 songs right now .... This reminds me I need to buy a new external harddrive just in case this one decides to just give out for no reason
