nigas was on a spaceship bootlicking eachother for an hour then some nikka gets some shyt stuck to his face, then it comes out his stomach, then it grows really fast and tries to murk everyone, thats pretty much the plot breh, I'm not shytting on it because I enjoyed it but yal talking that crazy talk about it being "more detailed" The Aliens look exactly the same as the first film, plus theres more than one this time. You can't get more detailed than a big ass Queen Alien dropping a shytload of eggs breh :mjpls:

I have to disagree, breh. The talking parts of Alien were all interesting, and served a purpose. It wasn't meant to be an action film. It was more suspense/horror (not in the sense of today's cliche horror films.) I think the way you described the plot removes a lot of what was interesting in the film- the social/political themes, the sheer detail and atmosphere of the settings, the characters' backgrounds, the mystery of the alien, the perversity of its reproductive cycle, etc.

The next film abandons all that in favor of just having the aliens as this mass threat, and ruining the mystery about them, essentially making it a monster film, which the first one wasn't. If it were up to me (and Ridley Scott,) there would never have been a queen, there would never have been alien "hives" with masses of aliens going up against a bunch of dudes with guns, etc. All that stuff distracts too much from what I enjoyed most about the first movie and felt were the core strengths. For me, Alien is much closer to a movie like The Thing.

I respect Ridley for sticking to his guns and making this an R-rated film. We don't need weak ass PG shyt in sci-fi. The horror genre has been ruined by it's lack of blood/gore/mature themes and situations. shyt's been neutered.

If people don't want to bring their kids to see this masterpiece then fukk 'em. My parents would have had me right in there and I would have been the first one

I agree with the first part.

I disagree with the second part. If nothing else people been using gore and blood in horror to hide their lack of talent.
