I hope Ohio State never fire Ryan Day. This picture is crazy.

Dude has won like 90% of his games. I know OP is a Michigan fans but a lot of sports fans are ridiculous. Winning championships is hard. Plenty of loaded teams don’t win titles. Sure losing to your rival sucks but Michigan has been a playoff team the last three years. No team wins a championship every year so ..it’s not like he’s losing to Denard Robinson and Brady Hoke. OSU AD would be insane to even entertain firing Day because of delusional fans.

Yep just like Michigan let Harabaugh. They’ll learn after a couple 8-4 seasons with the new head coach. Not to mention next year the playoff expands so they would be straight.
You're not wrong.. but tell me.. when's the last time OsU didn't hit on a head coaching hire?

Ohio state just needs a better QB the rest of the team is stacked like always
It'll be interesting next year cause I think Penn State is the only team that may return their QB, not sure if Moore will even stay at UCLA so the Big10 is gonna be wide the fukk open next year with everyone losing a ton of players, fukkin' Iowa might be a problem next season lol

Every year Ohio St. beats up on weaklings and then when they play someone of equal talent or more they get exposed.

They usually only have to get up for Michigan and maybe Penn State some years. Notre Dame is usually always overrated too living on the glory of yesteryear.

Nah breh. Anyone would go 11-1 every year with the pedigree of that program, the kids they recruit, and the conference they play in. Beating Michigan and winning a national title is the goal. This isn’t some run of the mill regular program breh.
Anyone would not go 11-1 with that program, because we've seen coaches in that program deliver worse records.

So if the 1 came in the 4th week but he beats Michigan in the B1G championship game, then what? Does the 1 still matter?

Harbaugh is paid to do the same thing. You can't keep your 0 every season.

Didn't they go 8 years getting smacked? It's ridiculous. The proper order of things will be back.
Proper order? We lead the rivalry all time. We had two of our worst coaches ever in the 2000s and 2010s. This is the proper. It’s always been competitive some of you don’t remember how we did them in the 90s. The difference is Tressel was greater than Carr and obviously Rich Rod and Hoke was nothing compared to Urban Meyer.

Ryan Day is simply a worse coach than Harbaugh. He followed Urban’s game plan in year one and then Harbaugh adjusted and now Day is adjusting. He did better this year and should have the advantage next year with all the Michigan players expected to go to the league. It’s just a bad look losing to an offensive coordinator and because you chose McCord over the dude who is the QB for Michigan.

With the way the BIG has been the past 3 years, anyone would go 11-1 with the talent difference. Same thing with Michigan, there’s no excuse these past 3 years to lose more than 1 regular season game. Penn State, Michigan and OSU are drastically more talented than everyone else in the conference. And I think Day is a good coach but any game OSU lost outside of Michigan or a top 5 team the past 3 years would be a major upset.

And they share this conference, on top of a couple Big 10 teams being good enough to pull off an upset. Somebody's taking 1 or 2 Ls out of this group any given year.

I've written two columns, read a lot of articles and listened to a ton of podcasts since the Ohio State-Michigan game. One thing that needs to be said that I haven't heard anyone say is this: Ohio State didn't just lose the game, it missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to really knock your hated opponent into a dark spot. Imagine if Ohio State won how we'd be talking about Michigan and the cheating scandal today. It would have delegitimized everything Michigan accomplished the last three years. Now, it's the opposite. Ryan Day may win the Michigan game next year, but that missed opportunity in one of the biggest games in rivalry history can never be salvaged. Day could have hurt Michigan's program more in this one than any other individual game in rivalry history. He didn't. That has to be the toughest pill to swallow for Ohio State fans.

:wow: that's why I will forever cherish this win. If Michigan would of lost this game the media and fanbases everywhere would of killed Michigan forever.
