You guys are living in a revisionist dream. Fedor was the best fighter P4P that the world had ever seen. NO ONE was coming close to him. Silva is up there but hes not the best. Quit letting Dana White brainwash you. He handpicks fights that he knows the most likely outcome for.

Exactly. It's well known Dana White tried to turn UFC fans against Fedor. Have his critics seen Fedor fight??? He's not human. What makes him even more intimidating is how quiet and focused he is. Look at what the worlds best UFC fighters have said about him

Anderson Silva is the GOAT

Fedor was king during his time, but got exposed when he came to the states. People might blame it on age, but forget that Anderson is older than him...I think his biggest flaw was not evolving, as he was so dominate for so long that he felt he didnt need to..when he started losing he didnt know what to do, and just retired

I love Fedor, but he definitely dominated a bad Heavyweight division over there in Pride (although very impressively)....the Heavyweight division is going strong now, but it wasnt always like that

Oh Fedor got exposed? Like when he destroyed Tim Sylvia in 36 seconds?

"I know that I'm one of the best in the world, I was amazed at how good Fedor is. He hurt me right away and submitted me. The guy's a stud. I don't even think he's human. That guy hits hard. I've never been hit that hard before."
-Tim Sylvia

"Fedor hits so hard, I don't remember anything (from the fight). No one has his speed and power combo."

Tim Sylvia

im going on the losses to Werdum, Big Foot, and Henderson, and then refusing to come to the UFC and fight top competition

it is what it is

You can't judge him entirely off of what he did almost ten years after he became the P4P #1 .

People talking about these Japanese "cans" are ignorning something important. He did eventually beat Sylvia and Arvsloski. Now if you say ":beli: They're trash"...then why the fukk is Fedor not facing the UFC heavyweights of his prime a valid argument against his greatness? He beat two of the dudes who were the best heavyweights UFC had to offer while he was at the peak of his prowess. The only people missing on his resume are Barnett, Mir, and Couture when it comes to contemporaries. The Barnett fight would've happened but Josh kept on losing to Mirko (who Fedor beat).

If you think 2004 Fedor wouldn't give 2004 Randy and 2004 pre-crash Mir that work then :whew: I don't know what to tell you.

All that said, the current all-time P4P list has to start with Anderson and Fedor in any order.

Im not confident Fedor could ever even touch Silva in a striking match and Fedor on the ground isnt exactly a master. It would be a great match because of Fedor's ability to not die.

If they fought I would definitely put money on the spider. ..

when he had that three fighting losing streak (hendo, bigfoot, werdum) the only bad loss he had was against bigfoot silva

in the werdum fight he dropped him but dude got caught in werdum's guard, and thats nothing to be ashamed of. Dude BJJ is legit top 3 in the HW division

In the hendo fight he was gettin the better of the exchanges and one point did have hendo hurt till he got caught by a hendo bomb. But considering how much damage he has taken in fights, of course dude was eventually was gonna fall off. you cant take the same punishment forever and expect to come out liek you always have

Anderson is the the Current walking GOAT, you can make an argument that anderson resume is not the greatest who he has beaten people at there own game plan. when have you ever seen anderson hurt? Dude is a walking

but fedor run should be celebrated as one of the GOATS.
