Here's why I'm not too concerned, win or lose. Seeding is good, but we had a 13-3 record last year and didn't make the superbowl. I much more concerned about the big picture, and not this game.
If Alex has to miss this week in order to be better in the long run and it helps us advance to the Superbowl, I'm all for it. I think last season was the time for us to worry about records and seeding and all that. This season, we need to look at the overall picture and not get caught up in 1 game. We did that earlier this season and the Giants beat the brakes off of the Niners.
The last 2 Superbowl winners were 10-6 and 9-7. As long as we're playing solid football going into the playoffs, I couldn't care less about what seed we were...
