So dame don’t make nothing off of all those other rocafella releases? He owns 1/3 of RD and 100% of everything else as which was part of the deal with the Def Jam CEO deal
Cam talks to Dame regularly and Mase mentioned on 'It Is What It Is' last week that he talked to Dame on the phone. So dame don’t make nothing off of all those other rocafella releases?
I know all of this I saw the episode I’m just wondering if Dame’s 1/3rd of rocafella ownership also includes all of the other successful roc releases from his time as CEO or is it just Reasonable DoubtCam talks to Dame regularly and Mase mentioned on 'It Is What It Is' last week that he talked to Dame on the phone.
This is a play.
Jay-Z would have stepped in and paid off Dame's debt to take all of Roc-a-fella. The money was chump change to Jay-Z. But Dame decided to sell it to Cam and Mase instead. It keeps it with friends and in the family. And it keeps it away from Dame's debt collectors as they all keep knocking on the door.
They spent 15 minutes of their podcast today implying that Jay-Z (they didn't say his name) and one of Jay-Z's biggest rivals (they didn't say who, I'm guessing 50) has been calling them directly or through intermediaries all week to try and buy it. shyt is cold
DAME SAID JAY LOW BALLED HIM...
SO IT APPEARS HE SOLD IT TO HIS HOMIES
BEFORE IT HIT THE AUCTION.

Yeah I’m thinking it’s Nas, if it is Nas, I’m sure he’d sell it right back to Hov off GP

And if it’s just RD how did that happen? Does def jam get 100% of the publishing/masters from every other roc release and he gets nothing?
That’s not how it works. He was forced to auction it to get money to pay off the debtors. Selling it to Cam and Mase was just a petty way to keep it out of Jay and Biggs’ hands. I could see 50 wanting it to troll.Cam talks to Dame regularly and Mase mentioned on 'It Is What It Is' last week that he talked to Dame on the phone.

Jay Z got his masters back as part of his deal with Def Jam but RD wasn’t a DJ album. Jay wants full ownership of his debut and Dame won’t give it to him out of spite. It’s value is only what Jay Z values it at. Jay Z owns all the value albums - HKL, Vol 1 and 2, BP, TBA, BP3, etc.I know all of this I saw the episode I’m just wondering if Dame’s 1/3rd of rocafella ownership also includes all of the other successful roc releases from his time as CEO or is it just Reasonable Doubt
