What’s the purpose of buying washed up record labels like Death Row and Roc-a-fella? Do they get the masters of every artist on the label with it?

Idk about the rest of the catalog but this definitely includes a third of the masters to Reasonable Doubt, I’d imagine that’s pretty significant considering Jay Z had been hellbent on wanting to buy Dame’s share for a while
