Ok

First of all, your analogy was doomed from the start. The process of OTA updates goes through Google, Samsung as well as Verizon before it reaches your phone. There is no comparison to be made here between OTA updates and windows not rolling down. None at all. And in case you don't believe me, read this detailed explanation on why Verizon and Sprint got the JellyBean updates late.
Go ahead and blame Verizon for a Jelly Bean-less Galaxy Nexus | Mobile - CNET News

Meaning Verizon, Samsung and Google all have a part to play in android updates. So when Verizon is actually the first network to release a Galaxy Nexus in America and the last to update to JellyBean (See: Verizon Galaxy Nexus Officially Last Nexus to Jelly Bean), you already know that this has nothing to do with Samsung or Google and everything to do with Verizon. And in case you decide not to click my little link, let me run you the list of devices that got JellyBean before the Verizon Galaxy Nexus

Nexus 7
Asus Transformer Pad TF300
Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi version
GSM Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus
GSM Samsung Nexus S
Sprint Samsung Nexus S
GSM Samsung Galaxy S3

No excuse for every Nexus device that came out before and after the Verizon version to get updated. Now hush child and pos rep me

:dwillhuh:

1. When I wrote that, it was actually intended for more than just your horrible post, it was for every other person complaining about problems that are the MANUFACTURER problem and not the CARRIER problem.

2. Verizon could give a fukk less when updates go through, period. Thats why future updates arent posted any where on verizons website, and are posted on the manufacturer websites.

3. I work at Verizon, trust me, we dont care. We dont care. We get an email the day of, or about a week before saying "hey this phone is updating to this software". Thats it. You know why we dont care? Because we arent in charge of updates, the manufacturer is. The manufacturers supply the update, and tell verizon to push it through. Thats it.

4. the Galaxy Nexus did horrible sales wise for Verizon. Started off with $299 price, lost horribly to the Razr, pretty much required extended battery, and had no microsd slot ( :heh: ), and now the Samsung GS3 is out crushing the buildings, its pretty the lost phone on Verizon. Not even a priority.

5. eat these negs when I get off 24 fakkit :pacspit:

So a phone shouldn't get a timely update because it didn't make enough money?

These phone companies :smh:

The manufacturers supply the update, and tell verizon to push it through.

:whew:

That was the only thing you said in that post that actually mattered...unless you were trying to say that car manufacturer's supply gas stations with the process f fixing a window and tell them to do it
:rudy:

The fact is, Samsung sent Verizon the updates...Verizon took 6 months to update ICS, and was the last to update to Jelly Bean. Unless you gonna say something to disprove this then I suggest you keep quiet. It's not on Samsung because the same phone outside of your shytty little company got updated before yours did

Edit: And yes, you are right that most of the time updates are not the fault of network providers. But that's not what was being discussed in here by me nor anyone else. So sit down and shut up

2nd Edit: And your stupid point about Nexus sales was stupid. Verizon never promoted the phone. They promoted the Razr every month until the next version of the Razr dropped. I had never seen a commercial for the Nexus until Verizon dropped the price to $99 and then not again after that

I'm :snoop: too that you would try to argue that Verizon has nothing to do with updates while in the same breath admitting that Verizon actually pushes the updates out. Go click my links and actually read before responding next time

Verizon pushes the updates, thats it... Got a problem with the late release of jellybean or any other update ? bring it up with the phone manufacturer.

Not with the Nexus. Nexus phones get the latest updates and all at the same time. Verizon (and Sprint) is the only monkey-wrench in the process. That's why if I cop the same phone straight from Google, and take it to T-Mobile I'll get the update first.

It has nothing to do with what you so-called do at your "job." Verizon got the update for the phone the same day as everyone else. Last one to update. You haven't said shyt to explain that.
