I could never stop listening to hip hop. It’s been ingrained in me for almost 43 years. I remember when it was still being called a fad. Now look how far it’s come. I don’t really listen to any new artists but I don’t need to. There’s still a lot of my favorites still putting out dope music. 2Chainz and Wayne, Jeezy and Nas all dropped dope projects last year. Jeezy and Nas in particular dropped very mature albums
And of course I still bump the old soul I grew up on and the R&B of my youth and teenage days. A lot of new R&B is being slept on. My lady put me on to the album Victoria Monet dropped last year. Dope ass album
