Thats the priority? Why not allow goaltending and change the lane too then? Top players don't even play in FIBA. Only really care about Olympics if there is a threat.

Let's be real, nothing regarding threes will be a good idea for y'all til Curry retires, because you don't want him going out the league with players welcoming him to shoot from wherever knowing it won't be worth 3.
Funny thing is, they love scoring, but in sports where scoring is harder and less frequent it feels way more exciting. That's why soccer and football is so big cause every score is a dagger.
I feel like the way they're scoring in the nba now with the 3's and layups, it's so fast people don't even really comprehend what they're seeing and the game just flies by. People talk about 90's 00's nba like it was trash but honestly it was extremely exciting, easier to appreciate both sides of the floor. And I also feel like the nba community was better too. Era was more masculine so the shyt talk kinda just felt like that. But these days it seems like all the fans do is insult each other all day about which era they like

If you start a quarter going 0-5 behind the arc that you instantly have to recalibrate your approach on the fly and focus on the best possible available shot versus a 3

The game has advanced and I enjoy it, I'm kinda not understanding how the players becoming more skilled and gaining range in their 3 point shooting abilities has lead people to say it's not fun to watch

I'm not fond of players getting 40+million dollar a year contracts and sitting out games. They sitting out cause they contracts are guaranteed, they need to be paid per game played.
Game loses some casual viewers and we get lower ticket prices I'm fine with that.
