had a little crew that i ran with when we where in our early 20s and one of the cats(lets call him Ben) had issues with his stepdad so my other friend(Jay) let him crash at his house whenever his stepdad would be on his shyt. Now Jay was doing this cause he felt sorry for Ben,he'd look out for him in the streets as well when they went to school together as kids,he held him down. I never really fukked with Ben after i gave him 200 bucks to get me 4 pair of Max 90's cause he had a connect. I only got two pairs and he gave me the runaround for two weeks before i caught up with him and beat his ass for ducking me(nikka came around us with a gold chain while he owed me money). Jay's mom was a good looking woman in her early 40's( we were 18-20) but had a drinking problem( we all knew but never spoke on it). Ben would sometimes bring alcohol to the house and Jay would tell him not to but he felt he had to show some gratitude for having him sleep at her house. Some time went by and we'd see less and less of Ben and never knew where he was at. Jay had a girlfriend where he would stay, mostly during the weekend.We had gone out clubbing one weekend and Jay didn't want to go to his girls house and decided to go home,they'd been having problems. Weekend goes by and we didn't see Ben or Jay for a couple of days.Around thursday Jay's girl runs into one of our friends and says he is locked up and might be facing manslaughter charges for almost killing Ben. Jay had gone to his moms house that weekend (he had his own key) and he caught Ben digging his moms back out,both drunk. The house was littered with empty bottles and trash. His mom (from what his girl told me) had been fukking Ben,while he was feeding her booze habit,getting her drunk . Jay had been nothing but a friend to Ben since they were kids and he went completely goku when he saw the state his mom was in and Ben was acting as if his moms had instigated everything,even telling him that she wanted to seduce him from rip. Jay lost it, went into the kitchen while Ben followed,he grabbed a knife and stabbed Ben in the leg,they started to tussle and Jay poked him in the face,slashed the right side of his face across his right eye. Ben went down and Jay beat the fukk out of him while Ben passed out.His mom pulled him off Ben and told him to leave cause she didn't want the police arrest him for killing dude. He left and got bagged the next day(Ben ratted). Ben lost his right eye had nerve damage to his leg and never gained his full mobility back. Jay did time for it, his mom spiraled out of control while he was locked up and ended up in jail herself for drug smuggling. Since i never really fukked with Ben after he fukked me on our deal (i hold grudges) I never cared to speak to him but he he still lives in our part of town but is a world class loser with a drug habit now. Jay did his time and moved away. I still see him during the carnival festivities in the summertime,he doesn't talk to his mom after she got bagged but thats another story.
