Yeah breh both were stupid and you exactly right, that's part of why I got away with it; it's hard as fukk to find down to earth brothers on my professional level. The fact is that I am in a female dominated field; the fact is also that while I come from a working class family with some semblance of a family structure, she has none of that. We met in 04, got married at the age of 20 in 06 and had my daughter in 07. Like I said it was moreso both of us growing up together.

Breh I am not a male feminist. I don't think I should be shamed for believing in equality for all, regardless of gender. But we can take it there; what does gender equality have to do with this narrative I've given? I personally see patriarchy and male privilege in play both in my personal life and professional career. I don't think it's right and I believe that we should at least listen to what the sisters have to say. We don't have to agree but we can hear them out.

10 yrs of marriage gone down the drain. I'm drinking to hide my pain bc if my nikka @freddykruegeronapill fell victim, then there ain't no hope for the youth. Well ain't that the truth when the only role models they have left either rappin or they hoop. DAMN

Im gonna be alright lil breh. What people don't realize is that as bad as all of this sounds, my life is still really good. I am extremely blessed to be in the position that I am in, and although I fukk up here and there, I still keep on going, trying to be the best person I can be. Tbh I could give a fukk less about being called a scumbag on here- I realized that a while ago when I was doing all of this. So I could give a fukk less what some say about me on here.
I don't see it as having gone down the drain because I have learned a lot, and while I don't think it is over, if it is, I still love her and want to see her happy in life. Even if ain't with me. That was the feeling I had when we officially separated. When we separated I was paying her rent in Atlanta. I brought my daughter down to Atlanta around Mother's Day and my graduation so that she could spend time with her. She just fukked up and got right into another toxic relationship.

My dumb ass jumped into one quick as hell too. Around May, I was developing this relationship with a woman from my academic department, and she got right to the point and said that she wanted to move in to save some money and help me raise my daughter and keep my house together. Long story short, she moved in for a month, started spending a lot of money, and tried to be too controlling (wanted me to dress a certain type of way, quit cigs and alcohol, etc.). I wasn't having it, so she broke up with me and I gave her a month and multiple opportunities to get her shyt. Muhfukka pulled up on my job this summer starting reckless drama (I was working with Upward Bound), and emailed my bosses talking about she still has stuff in my house (which is a lie). She is trying to send me a bill for half of what was bought during that short time and I am like GTFOH. So this semester is going to be awkward as fukk between me and most of the women in my program. But I'll be alrifght.
