electronic music doesn't age well period because new technology comes out with more state of art crisper sounds

and nobody makes crunk shyt anymore even though they had nicer beats in that era than the trap shyt thats out now
Boom bap beats stay classic because they are sample based, and the groove of the loop is the essence of hip hop because it creates a feeling which is why the DJ would bring back the record when was spinning creating the break, that's what rap is
these trap beats have no groove lmao, the turn around on the loop doesn't snap, they are not infectious so they are less memorable, when the urban R&B stuff is actually a lot nicer and tighter pocket more so than rap beats nowadays
the same way crunk died when the triton keyboard got played out
trap died with the fantom keyboard, and that lex lugar shyt got played out with fruity loops
now the producer game is nothing but pre-made loops created by musicians with real talent lmao and they are assembled like legos
