I disagree and agree.

He's not garbage and he's not on because of Ciara. He actually does make good party music. It's undeniable. Whether you like that music or not is entirely up to you.

With that said I am not listening to 10 future songs in a row nor would I want to ever. I was at a show Monday night and the DJ played 3 Future songs in a row and the crowd clearly wanted him to switch it up. I think after a while you have to switch it up, with any trap beats/trap music. Not just his.

charisma
kəˈrɪzmə/
noun
  1. 1.
compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others.
"he has tremendous charisma and stage presence"
synonyms: charm, presence, aura, personality, force of personality, strength of character, individuality; More

  2. 2.
a divinely conferred power or talent.

So how could anyone in their right mind think the above applies more to Nas than Future? Nas is hyper talented, possibly the greatest lyricist ever, he doesn't necessarily need charisma to succeed (and thats not what people look to his music for). Future has zero talent, the idea that he would be where he is without charisma is ridiculous. He's EXCEPTIONALLY charismatic for a rapper, in the same way Jeezy was. Jay and Biggie are rare examples of what happens when hyper-talent and charisma come in one package, that's why Jay is the GOAT and Biggie would have had a chance if he had lived on.

Saying Nas has no charisma is idiotic. If you can't feel Nas's charisma, especially on his best work, you're not a hip hop fan. It's that serious.
I'm a big Nas fan, but he ain't really known for being charismatic. He's known for his lyricism and storytelling more than anything else.

if you say these are the same you're deaf breh

They may have comparable drums/tempo but they're completely different songs

my dude, these shyts sound the fukking same. fukk outta here.

You're expecting a 1 to 1 copy? Of course they're not gonna sound exactly like each other. It's impossible to even do that.

But are they gonna sound like the same musical approach every time? Yes. It's the same slow trap, mumbling ass shyt.

says who? I need receipts on this shyt.

I think you guys come from a different generation where "loud bass + popular" = charisma. It doesn't work like that.

There are some people who find Nas boring (which I never got) and he isn't a super charismatic person. Have you seen his interviews? He comes off pretty introverted. When I think of charismatic rappers I think of guys like Snoop, Biggie and Pac. Nas' name doesn't really come into my mind when I think of rappers that have the most charisma. I'm not saying he has no charisma though.

:martin: Man just cause you're wrong doesn't mean you need to be in denial and backtrack.

You went from "practically the same", to

"same musical approach" which is still false. All three of those tracks were by different producers

If you really want to argue "same musical approach" then you'd have to get at any golden age era artist

Just because future has an overarching cohesive sound doesnt mean he makes the same song every time.

You wouldn't say that about wu would you? Yeah Return to the 36 chambers has a cohesive sound, in that the songs give a similar vibe.

And expanding further upon that, return to the 36 chambers fits under the umbrella of the wu/rza sound.

Just be straight up, breh, you don't like future. You don't have to be saying lies to prove anything.
