Sorting by TS% among Point Guards, Russell Westbrook's .504% currently ranks 36th out of 43 in the NBA.
If you limit it to just starting PGs, he ranks 27th out of 30 with only Dejounte Murray, Cade Cunningham and Kevin Porter Jr. ranking behind him.
Dejounte Murray is a much better defender which significantly boosts his overall value.
Cade Cunningham is a rookie.
Kevin Porter Jr. just a bad player, though I guess you could argue he's only 21.
It is not a stretch to say Russell Westbrook might currently be the worst starting PG in basketball -- not just due to TS% because that is not the end all, be all. But there just isn't any metric one can find to justify the minutes he is getting at the moment.
He's not a positive value offensively or defensively.
If Lebron and AD are on the court, they can probably carry the team to make up for Westbrook's deficiencies.
If you choose to look at it from a financial perspective, Westbrook is almost certainly a disaster for the Lakers.
