Bjork is a real child prodigy and I own her making records as a child singing Xmas carols in Icelandic.
Everyone in the genre outside of hooverphonic, Beth gibbons and bjork all are low quality trash biter ripoffs.
If it ain't them three singers and the original vocalist healthy in tricky's maxinquaye. The rest of the submissions in the genre suck along with monae adding and included in the low quality suckage.

Bjork is a genre to herself.
She and her music is just bjork.

Some may categorize it as triphop.
or progressive house but bjork is simply bjork. It is her own childlike creation and her music was always an original child like creation. Others have siphoned off of till she was mature enough to do it all herself as a child to woman very early on.
You can scrape the triphop phoneys barrell for that bullshyt ripoff look alike trash garbage. Yet you will never find another bjork ever. Just the idea Janelle monae even tries that biter bullshyt is a complete joke. As monae is not a creative on bjork's level. Monae is just a classically trained at best biter student. Her best look is a ripoff of feminzai scrubbing Marilyn Manson's tour mascot and guide from oz fest. Where he has the evil Minnie mouse slash Disney character gone awry goth thing. That she thinks other black people will not catch. Yet, this goofball girl never realized all that type of music since queen is based on sonically trying to be black music in every possible way anyway.
Alternatively, Bjork is an actual real prodigy they should have made schools after. It is a huge difference.

Yet, I am open to giving someone else props in the genre, bjork created.
if they were good.
Yet monae is not good at all.
Monae is the biggest low quality ripoff solo artist damn near in the genre ever. Monae, morcheeba, sneakerheads, spooks and esthero are garbage.

To this day only one artist in the genre of rnb has been able to do that type of genre specific records and that is Marsha ambrosius and that is only for one record. As Marsha stays in her rnb driven lane with a nod to the genre because it is bigger in her native arena. Yet monae and others are complete no talent ripoffs and need to create their own genre or stick to making rnb.
The whole trip hop wanna be acid jazz arena the likes of monae and others need to get better in completely. Or leave the genre and biting completely alone.
