Dude just stop. Jay Brown is black for one. And he works for Jay and is Jays business partner and ceo of rocnation. Jay brown is not listed as the owner. He is listed as the one who filed the paperwork. The owner is clearly listed as S carter enterprises.

Project Panther Bidco - Wikipedia

And it appears that the company was only put together for the purpose of facilitating the acquisition of Aspiro. Im sure there were other legalities and finaincial considerations involved but in the end Aspiro has been aqcuired by Jay as reported in every media and news publication.
This is not a discussion about Jay Brown being black! Just the ownership breakdown. We're having two different discussions.

And can you not read. HE IS THE SOLE SHAREHOLDER. It just highlights that it's impossible for you to say that ONLY Jay put up the 56M, when we have the documentation to prove that a company can have a single member and still have multiple unknown entities behind it providing funding.

Jay Z doesn't own the controlling stake of Tidal. He own it equally with 20+ other artists, plus Sprint and whoever else. He's just the public face.

For the record, I'm an audiophile and subscribe to HiFi Tidal.
:russ:I love when y'all make bullshyt statements like this, as if isn't possible to look this shyt up.

:comeon: According to Wikipedia:

A. TIDAL Music AB LLC's parent company is Norwegian technology company Aspiro (while Sprint has a 33% stake of Tidal).

B. Aspiro is owned by holding company Project Panther Bidco Ltd.

C. Project Panther Bidco Ltd is owned by S. Carter Enterprises, LLC.

:stopitslime: but trying your very best to skip paying for a Tidal subscription.

:mindblown: you guys just heard Jay-Z say

"We all lose when the family feuds
What's better than one billionaire? Two
I'll be damned if I drink some Belvedere while Puff got CÎROC
Y'all need to stop"
- Family feud.

And before you guys ask, I've been paying for tidal for two years now. It's just as good as apple music.
I'm guilty but I don't keep any subscription for a music service. I tried tidal when it launched and the app was clunky and limited compared to the competition. I'll keep it for a while but like with the BBB threads on here it comes down to sometimes being able to be on par with your competitors. So far the app seems improved and I'm considering keeping it but I get premium sound for 9.99 at Spotify and it costs 19.99 at tidal. I'd run that cost if I could take it out as a business expense but too much for a monthly music sub.

This ^^ It seem like being pro black is the wave. I saw David Banner on the breakfast club and he was bragging about how he gets spayed to speak now. Then he dropped some quasi-woke album on us. Same with T.I. He dropped a cringeworthy pro black video :scust:. But he stilll on reality tv partaking in ratchetness for the whole world to see. I'm not saying that Jay Z and some of these other entertainers aren't pro black but they are just being pro black because that was is "IN" now. Beyoncé did a "pro black" Super Bowl performance and she sooo woke now but she can't even get on interview and articulate her thoughts. These rich black folks just donate to black causes, say a canned statement and we automatically assume their pro black.

When that picture of Tidal employees dropped a couple years ago I didn't see not one black person. shyt might've changed , idk. If it wasn't for all these black entertainers gassing up all that luxury white and asian products most black peoples wouldn't know what they was to begin with. I dnt hear Justin Bieber shouting out luxury brands or Taylor Swift. Only rappers like him doing 10+ years of luxury white brand name dropping and noooow they want to change the tide. :comeon:

Do what best for you and your family. If it's equal or better product go black, if not do what's best for you.

I mean, Chance is actually doing shyt that will help people and trying to be a positive influence on the community and thecoli still has a grudge against him for some reason so :yeshrug:

Breaking news yall, bloomberg, rueters, business wire , ny times, bill board and every media entity thats been reporting on this for 2 years and even Aspiro and the project panther rep themselves in their press releases got it wrong.. DialM from the Coli read the same filing online everyone has access too and determined Jay Z's employee, Jay Brown not Jay himself owns Tidal.. :stopitslime:

You're embarrassing yourself at this point with your lack of business knowledge. Obviously Jay brown, who works for Jay z, was in charge of organizing the company and the initial incorporation filing. That's why he is listed on there. The only purpose of the company was to facilitate the acquisition of Aspiro by s carter enterprises which has been completed. Here are some white owned media sources so your c00n ass will believe it.

Aspiro itself issued the following statement at the time it was being bought:

"This statement is made by the Independent Bid Committee[1] of Aspiro AB (publ) ("Aspiro" or the "Company") pursuant to section II.19 of the Rules concerning Public Takeover Offers on the Stock Market adopted by Nasdaq Stockholm (the "Takeover Rules").

On 30 January 2015, Project Panther Bidco Ltd ("Panther"), indirectly owned by S. Carter Enterprises, LLC (“SCE”), has, through a press release, announced a public offer to the shareholders of Aspiro to tender all shares in the Company to Panther for a consideration of SEK 1.05 per share in Aspiro (the "Offer").[2] "
Aspiro: Statement by Aspiro’s independent bid committee in relation to Project Panther Bidco’s public takeover offer

"Jay Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, made his offer for Aspiro in late January through an entity he controls, Project Panther Bidco. Aspiro shareholders had until Wednesday to consider the offer, which needed 90 percent approval for Project Panther to take it over."
Jay Z Buys the Music Streaming Firm, Aspiro

"Project Panther Bidco, Ltd ("Panther"), an entity controlled by S. Carter Enterprises, LLC ("SCE") is pursuing a possible acquisition of Aspiro AB ("Aspiro"), based in Sweden."
