When I win I bring we with me

In particular by black men.

I've been growing my hair out since January of last year and my hair looks like the weeknd's. There's so many times/moments where I just want to cut this shyt off and be done with it, but I'm gonna finish what I started. I can only imagine how black women must feel who stick with the natural look.

Hair care is serious business, ESPECIALLY with black hair. I never understood why women talk and care about hair so much but after growing mine out and trying to maintain it, I completely get it now. Most of these other nationalities have no idea about the hair struggle so I don't expect much from then as far as empathy or respect.
But we can't be faulting sistas for wearing wigs and weaves given the nature of our hair and the maintenance needed to keep it healthy and glowing.

Let's be sure to teach our sons and nephews to respect our women and their hair.

That is all.

I get where you’re coming from but I don’t think it’s hard to take care of natural black hair.

I have 3c/4a hair and all I do is shampoo and condition it once a week, run water through it daily when I shower, put some moisturizer in it and ecostyling gel and go on about my day.

the reason some black people talk down on nappy hair has nothing to do with maintenance and the reason a lot of black women weave up their hair or wear wigs is all because crackas have indoctrinated our community into thinking straight or curly hair is better knowing damn well if they could grow a fro they would copy that too.

When the black gymnast gabby douglas and simone biles was on their Olympic rampage..

Their "nappy hair" caught a lot of attention on social media..
So you are applying this to Men’s sons currently over a four year old incident that was online?

Waves for black men are natural, and with some curls are not just locks, anyone can loc their hair.
lol I swear ignorance is the worse. If “Waves” were truly natural why you need a Durag brush and ect to get them spinning 360s? Do you even know what the word natural mean bruh? Can you just Wake up with your hair spinning without ever doing anything to manipulate it? If not I’m sorry bruh but it’s not natural..Like you said anyone black can loc their hair..That’s because thats how black hair naturally grow..embrace yours locs brothers & sisters..Locs are really unique when left alone to just grow without any interference..and if you never tried free form locs you have little room to comment..I currently have them and I’m telling you from experience it’s not hard to maintain..If you want to see my hair go on my IG @ “Iam2dashnice” for pictures..Peace & Blessings Family

Elaborate on this..

To me natural hair is natural.. Regardless of the style its in..
True Natural Hair is Hair that hasn’t been manipulated by “man products”(perms) or “man tools”(combs/brushes)..True natural hair just needs shampoo and oils

So are you basing your love of natural hair off of the less maintenance factor of it? Cuz it's like why stop there then? Why not just let your pubes, underarms, facial hair, nails, grow all crazy too?

In general our bodies need maintenance , there's no way around taking care of yourself, whether that means combing/cutting your hair and straightening it.

You dont need a du-rag to get waves..:mjlol:

The du-rag is only to maintain a "crisp" look to your waves.

Brushes an combing your hair is about hair health......that's:yeshrug: universal

Why is it the majority of wigs they put on their head are akin to European or Asian hair? And not afro hair?
