I figured out why Lamar Jackson has been successful this year.

He's gotta improve..

However, he's had 4 different play callers/offense the last 4 years.

Its hard to trust it as much as other QBs especially when you have mobility. Not saying he would have been great at it, but he'd certainly be better.
That has nothing to do with play callers. He does it again at the 0:50

Either you are scared in the pocket or you're not. You can't teach that.

I understand your point, i think a lot of qbs take the league by storm, and then years 3-5 they struggle, because the defense catch up, but that’s literally the point, the offense stress defenses, and he’s running to make plays, and over time they will keep adding key pieces that can open up the offense while maintaining their defense, I’m hoping he continues to grow
Lamar played well last year too though. This was the year he was supposed to be (exposed). Look at Baker. Looking like only injury or locker room beef will stop lamar until he gets paid......then we'll see

It is rare to see a QB with Lamar's athleticism, who can still burn you from the pocket, the problem is most defenses have to pick their poison because a QB with that type of ability will make defenses freeze for a few seconds and that's all Lamr really needs. Plus the the Ravens offensive line is enormous and can buy him time.

As you age first thing that goes is your speed and elusiveness when it comes to skilled-positions in the NFL.

That's why some people question if it's sustainable. But Lamar has shown improvements so far in pocket by the way he trounced my Dolphins ad a couple of others. So i'm not worried about him being Vick_2.0 and neglecting to work on is game (by Vick's own admission). As long as he keeps improving his passing game defenses will just have to pick their poison.

Problem is the Ravens have to surround him with talent at the WR and TE positions. Too often we see teams who have athletic QBs completely neglect to get them some help at the WR position. Falcons didnt get Roddy White until Vick's last 2 years with the team if im not mistaken. And Roddy White didnt come into his own until after Vick left, really.

Silly, look at his years at Louisville, constant progression. This year, progression. Last yea, his year to year jump will continue with the amount of effort he is putting.

Once they get him another speed receiver and a pass catching back, its over.

lamar already going through his progressions like a veteran even cacs can't hate him
but leave it to c00ns

Once he get some receivers he will dominate the game, he can do it all he an elite QB and elite RB, no other player in the history of league has been like this ever

He's been successful his entire football career. That's because he's an elite talent and it shows. :ehh:
Yep this is it. People don’t know what they seeing so they think he’s gone come back to earth eventually but the game hasn’t seen this kind of elite agility and quickness from a QB. Lamar legit got coaches/GM’s reevaluating the QB position to get more speed now

South Side Chicago to Nola
:francis:And because I predict, he won't I get vilified.

Why must we dikk ride every black quarterback? I showed love to Newton, Watson, Dak etc. I criticized Hurts when he was at Alabama, but he's turned into a respectable pro prospect at Oklahoma.

I’m not saying you are the villain I’m saying wait and see, the dudes doing dynamic things and the offense was adapted to him, so they aren’t trying to fit a square into a round hole, this can only go up from here, if he keeps studying and improving

Until the playoffs, but they switched playbooks and plays so teams can’t do the same game plan but there will be more roadblocks, it’s all in his legs adaptions and the run game to counter what he gets in the playoffs this year

Either you are scared in the pocket or you're not. You can't teach that.

Breh you have to throw with anticipation and that comes with trust in the offense. Trust in throwing guys open, knowing where the 2nd and 3rd reads are. Trust is gained through reps. To be an ELITE passer...yea you gotta have that natural gift.

You can post all the clips you want too, but most guys need a couple years in a system to fully execute the offense at a high level from the pocket.
The announcers say that during that game as well. He just got there in January.

Kyler Murray admitted that sitting behind Baker and learning the system that extra year helped him out when he played.
