After watching some of that game yesterday, basically teams do not respect the Ravens passing attack.
The Ravens have a great offensive line are so run heavy, defenses sell out and when they do, the ravens passing attack opens up. It also helps that the Ravens got a great defense, and it's why they opted to trade for defensive pieces like Peters and sign a player like Thomas, instead of upgrading the WR corps.

All of the running that Jackson does, its NOT sustainable. And I still think the media is overrating him, but it is what it is. I will eat humble pie for not, but please believe, when that rookie contract is up, and the roster isn't as good, we will see who gets the last word.
Defenses sell out on Dallas too:mjcry:why we not 11-2?:mjcry:

He's still adjusting too. He has an accurate arm, has good ball placement on deeper throws. Right now the running shyt is working so they're riding with that but it's not like he's Tim Tebow out there. Why have him throw the ball 45 times just to prove a point....if the running game is rockin, let it flow.

He has multiple games with multiple TD passes thrown.....just because he's not throwing for 300 yards every game, doesnt mean he can't pass

The team will keep adjust as they need to. I guarantee he'll be throwing the ball a lot more next year.

I understand ppl being skeptical when they feel a player is getting crowned too early but Lamar is going to be good for a long time bc he is multifaceted skillwise.

I'll admit being lowkey concerned that he's gone 3 straight weeks throwing under 200 yards (even though he crushed the Rams)

There was a time RG3 and Kaep looked like they'd be all time great passers and it just never happened.

However, what if Lamar right now is just like a young Russ? Remember Russ wasn't some elite passer until about 4 or 5 years in the league .

He could be Russ were it takes time for him to get there in the passing game, but he's just a godtier athlete as well.

At 22...its too soon to judge.

:francis:And because I predict, he won't I get vilified.

Why must we dikk ride every black quarterback? I showed love to Newton, Watson, Dak etc. I criticized Hurts when he was at Alabama, but he's turned into a respectable pro prospect at Oklahoma.
The fact that you think Hurts is good is clown shyt. :mjlol:

hurts is impatient and cant stay in a safe pocket for shyt, cutting the field in half for no reason at all when he rolls out a a clean pocket for absolutely nothing.
You dont know shyt

He can't

However, I think part of it is he's in a new system. Not like he had a few years in it like with Baker or Kyler (he's nowhere near them as pocket passers. However, in the system longer he could have had more comfort)

Lamar is an improved passer with a fabulous, field-stretching tight end corps and reliable although not spectacular wide receivers (Hollywood Brown puts them over the top as far as an explosive element).

Basically, piece-wise their offense is basically designed a lot like prime New England but with a more overwhelming dominance in the running game thanks to Ingram, Lamar and Edwards.

I understand your point, i think a lot of qbs take the league by storm, and then years 3-5 they struggle, because the defense catch up, but that’s literally the point, the offense stress defenses, and he’s running to make plays, and over time they will keep adding key pieces that can open up the offense while maintaining their defense, I’m hoping he continues to grow

Jackson is different... he’s a dual threat in the pass and the run.. pick your poison..

Nah. Hes just impatient. Its who he is.

Even here the announcer says "Hurts to throw...again well protected..." and this dude is running.

:dahell:

He does this shyt all the time for no reason and his receivers make him look good. Cutting the field in half for no reason will not work in the NFL.

He's gotta improve..

However, he's had 4 different play callers/offense the last 4 years.

Its hard to trust it as much as other QBs especially when you have mobility. Not saying he would have been great at it, but he'd certainly be better.
