I don't think we've seen 5% of what Julius Randle is capable of

Another horrendous game from Julius. He got a few cheap buckets, and was ineffective throughout the entirety of the game. Apart from crashing the offensive glass and forcing the refs to call fouls on the opponents, he doesn't offer the Pels anything. A shame that he's managed to fool folks into thinking otherwise.

Over his last four games:

Only 4 or 5 field goals created by himself (he's actually been blocked more times! That shouldn't even be possible)
18 turnovers (that's 4x the amount of turnovers v. self-created buckets!)
Three games subpar 40% FG (38%, 33%, 37% - which is even worse considering almost all of his shots come in the paint)
Near worst net rating out of all the Pelicans rotational players (same applies for the entire season)
Shrinks the floor on every possession, and drowns his team's offense (defenses treat him like Simmons, which again, applies for the entire season)
Horrendous paint protection and defensive rotations (worst defender out of all the main Pels rotational players)

One of the most inept offensive players in the league: if he's not getting those easy scoring opportunities in the paint, he's incapable of scoring.

WOAT.

How is he the same player? He's alot better at finishing around the rim, he got in better shape, he's become a decent defender at least gives effort he does still give bad fouls but he's an undersize 4 that plays most of his minutes at the 5 so what do expect? Other than his shot hasn't progressed as much as u like he's gotten better and I wish the Lakers would of kept him instead on kcp. Randle as our small ball 5 would of been sick.
He's the same player: turns the ball over more than he creates offense for himself, can't shoot (hinders offensive rhythm, scoring opportunities, and floor spacing cause he gets treated like Simmons, but without playmaking), low BBIQ, black hole on offense (the worst thing about this is, his scoring skillset isn't good enough to be one), and teams run layup drills on him on the other end.

Pelicans went from a near-50 win season to a 36-win rate season after adding Julius (in the games he's started they're on pace for a 28-win season)
Lakers went from a 35-win season to a 47-win rate season after getting rid of Julius

Addition by subtraction; subtraction by addition - the career of Julius Randle.
