America is the only reason I’ver ever had a credit card. When I would go to Florida, the car rental companies would ask me for so much ID and paperwork because I was using my debit card to rent cars. On top of that, they would make me pay additional charges for “security.”

America really is backwards when it comes to finances. My family in Florida said contactless payment has only become a thing since the pandemic whilst the UK has been doing it for years before that.

America is behind on a lot of shyt. I remember facetiming people when I lived in Italy back in 04 to 06. It wasn't called FaceTime but that's what it was. Then when Apple started that shyt I was like this shyt been out in Europe.

It’s crazy to me because it’ll be over the most basic shyt. I remember using a multi-storey car park in Florida in 2019 and I was amazed I had to pay a teller in cash when I was exiting.

Meanwhile here in the UK, we’ve been using automated ticket machines and paying by card for 10+ years.
