I know what u mean, got the same affliction, but I'm 6'1. It'll be worth it, being able to pick up my next shorty with ease, no matter how much she ways.... within reason if course. :usure: Heaviest chick I ever picked up in a bear hug was about 210. And my back was done. I'm tryna squat her for sets by next year.

Honestly, cause its easier to load and unload once those 45s start piling up.

I can't front tho, it also makes it easier. I guess it's because of the placement of my hands at my side. But with the Olympic bar my max was 460 and I know I haven't gotten that much stronger.

You might want to work on your form. I used to HATE them too cause I always left the gym in pain but once someone taught me correct form I was good. My CrossFit coaches had me working with an empty bar until they felt my form was good.

And with the bar I used in this vid, it keeps a lot of strain of my lower back.

:whew: My nikka I won't do a deadlift over 300 without a trap bar. fukk what they say....

I'm not sure how much that bar weighs so I went on the assumption of it weighing 45 lbs. I got 5 45s and a 2.5 on each side

One time during weightlifting for football I was maxing out using the trap bar and straps. I locked it out and went to drop it and the strap on my right hand got hung up on the bar so when I let go the bar twisted downwards so the bar landed on my foot before the weights hit the ground. :bryan: My big toe literally exploded brehs. Had me laid up in bed for weeks. shyt 6 years later is still not the same. Just looking at that trap bar makes me :sadcam:

You're built for deadlifts to be honest, well maybe not the long legs, but long arms definitely help with deadlifts -
